The rustic ambience in our wine cellar lets you forget the time and the evenings fly by. Our wine cellar is suitable for a cosy dinner for two, a cheerful round, atmospheric celebrations in a small circle or as a cosy conclusion after a relaxed stay in our Wachtelhof-Therme.

Surrounded by thick walls, solid oak wood and fine wines from Germany, Europe and overseas, friendships are made and deepened. It is also ideal for small business parties and after-work evenings!

When the meat on the Tatar hat sizzles – this is similar to a fondue and was discovered by us in the mountains – sauces, salad and side dishes line the table and are passed cheerfully back and forth, nothing stands in the way of a cosy evening. Alternatively, we can also prepare a cheese fondue or rustic snack plates.

Culinary delights in the wine cellar

Tartar hat

Originating from Asia, the so-called Tatar hat is a popular speciality, especially in Austria. A metal “hat” is heated over an open fire – this is where the richly prepared pieces of meat and shrimps become deliciously juicy. Of course heather potatoes, many sauces and fresh salad belong to this delicious dish. Daily and by reservation, exclusively in the wine cellar from 18:30. Please reserve your Tatar hat at least 24 hours in advance.

Cheese fondue

We serve Swiss raclette cheese melted in a caquelon and serve as side dishes small potatoes in boiled beans, strong bread cubes, nibbled vegetables, cornichons and lamb’s lettuce with potato vinaigrette.
