Hotel in the nature

The Hotel Landaus Wachtelhof is both an idyllic retreat and an ideal starting point for exploring the lively town of Rotenburg, which has retained its grown character in many places over the years. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, the picturesque pedestrian zone of Rotenburg with its attractive shops, cafés and restaurants invites you to shop and linger. We are also located directly on the Rotenburger Kulturpfad.

Directly behind the Wachtelhof, on the other side of the Mühlstreeks, is the nature reserve, the Ahewald and the Wümme meadows. You can go directly from the hotel by bike or by pedes to tours in the nature. There are plenty of destinations: Lake Bullensee, an idyllically situated natural lake, with its fantastic circular path and the Great and White Moor, the Melkhus in the surrounding area or the mill, ear of corn or burial mound rounds – we have the right maps and tips for you.
