If a hotel room or meeting room is ordered, promised or provided at short notice, a contract is concluded. The conclusion of the contract obligates the contracting parties to fulfill their mutual obligations thereunder for the entire duration of the contract.
- The obligation of the HOTEL LANDHAUS WACHTELHOF is to hold the room or function room ready in accordance with the order.
- The obligation of the guest is to pay the price for the period of the order of the room or the meeting room.
If a guest does not make use of the ordered hotel room or function room, he shall remain legally obligated to pay the price for the agreed hotel service, without regard to the reason for the prevention.
Deposit payment | Conferences/MICE
In case of a confirmed booking, the hotel asks for a deposit of 50% of the total revenue, starting from a turnover of EUR 3.000,00 (gross). The deposit invoice with 50% of the expected turnover will be sent to the customer after the hotel has received the signed contract.
Payment terms:
50% of the deposit payable up to 30 days prior to arrival.
If the deposit payment is not received by the above mentioned deadline, the hotel is entitled to terminate the contract immediately and extraordinarily.
Deposit payment | Weddings/private parties
In case of a confirmed booking, the hotel asks for a deposit of 60% of the total revenue, starting from a turnover of EUR 3.000,00 (gross). The deposit invoice with 60% of the expected turnover will be sent to the customer after the hotel has received the signed contract.
Payment terms:
20% of the deposit payable up to 6 months prior to arrival.
40% of the deposit payable up to 2 months prior to arrival.
If the deposit payemnts are not received by the above mentioned deadlines, the hotel is entitled to terminate the contract immediately and extraordinarily.
Cancellation rules for accommodation, breakfast, arrangements, wellness services and expenses
- On weekdays Sunday to Thursday, cancellation for overnight accommodation is possible free of charge until 6 pm.
- In case of later cancellation or early departure, 80% of the confirmed price will be charged. In case of no-show we charge 90%.
The following conditions apply to arrangement prices on any weekdays and overnight stays that extend over the weekdays Friday and Saturday:
- Cancellation of the reservation free of charge is possible up to 7 days before arrival. In case of later cancellation, changes and early departure, 80% of the confirmed price will be charged. In case of no-show we charge 90%.
Early booking rate
No change or cancellation can be made after the reservation. At the moment of booking, the client accepts that the full price of the stay is payable immediately. In case of cancellation or change of dates, this amount is non-refundable.
Cancellation rules for the Christmas & New Year’s Eve arrangement)
- up to 8 weeks before arrival: free of charge
- until 6 weeks before arrival: 40% of the agreed price
- up to 4 weeks before arrival: 60% of the agreed price
- from 2 weeks before arrival: 80% of the agreed price
- Early departure will be charged with 80% of the remaining stay
Cancellation rules | Meetings/MICE
The following cancellation rules apply according to the general terms and conditions for events (conferences / MICE) and room nights:
100% of the event turnover and room nights can be cancelled up to 12 weeks free of charge
50% of the remaining event turnover and the remaining room turnover can be cancelled free of charge up to 8 weeks before the start of the event
20% of the remaining event turnover and the remaining room turnover can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 weeks before the start of the event.
10% of the remaining event turnover and the remaining room turnover can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 weeks before the start of the event.
One person can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before the start of the event.
The hotel will charge 80% of the booked services in case of late cancellation and 90% in case of no-show (also single persons).
If no price has been agreed for the menu, the cheapest 3-course menu of the respective valid event offer will be taken as a basis. The calculation of the meal turnover is based on the formula: agreed menu price x number of participants.
If changes are requested 7 days (or less) prior to the event, we reserve the right to charge for this. The above cancellation deadlines apply to both contracting parties.

The following cancellation policies apply according to our terms and conditions for events (weddings / private parties) and room nights:
100% of the event turnover and room nights can be cancelled free of charge up to 10 months before the start of the event
60% of the remaining event turnover and the remaining room turnover can be cancelled free of charge up to 8 months before the start of the event
40% of the remaining event turnover and the remaining room turnover can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 months before the start of the event
20% of the remaining event turnover and the remaining room turnover can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 months before the start of the event.
05% of the remaining event turnover and the remaining room turnover can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 months before the start of the event.
In case of later cancellation 80%, in case of no-show (also single persons) 100% of the booked services will be charged.

HOTEL LANDHAUS WACHTELHOF has the right to payment for all services prior departure and accordingly has a legal lien on the guest’s belongings brought into the hotel. Should a contract exceed the total invoice amount of 5.000,00 € in advance, HOTEL LANDHAUS WACHTELHOF reserves the right to a deposit of 50%. The place of jurisdiction is Rotenburg/Wümme, since even in the event that the room or function room is not used, the services under the contract must be rendered in Rotenburg/Wümme. The prices include service charge and statutory value added tax.
