Horse enthusiasts from near and far are drawn again and again to the “equestrian city” Verden. Since 1735, when the Celle State Stud was founded, the high quality of the Verden horse breeding area has been documented in the stud books.

Twice a year an elite of about 100 young horses shows their outstanding qualities. Breeders with purchasing power or their trusted men from all over the world travel to the auctions in April and October. Not infrequently top prices of over ¼ million € are offered for the best horses. A highlight before the auctions is a horse show program, for which we will gladly reserve tickets for you if you book in good time.

The white giant of the skies close up

Alongside Toulouse and Seattle, Hamburg is one of the world’s leading aviation locations. During a guided tour of approximately 2 hours at ½ you will gain an insight into the structure and final assembly of the short- and medium-haul aircraft A318, A319 and A321.

Hamburg is involved in the development and production of the Airbus A380, with two full-length passenger decks and 555 seats in the basic version. Currently, only one pavilion presents visitors with interesting information about the A380. Since the tour is carried out without a break and mostly on foot, comfortable footwear and a good health condition are a prerequisite for a successful day.
