Amusement parks
Superlative holiday fun
Northern Germany’s largest theme park offers spectacular experiences for fearless roller coaster fans as well as for parents with their children. The Heide-Park Soltau offers around 50 different attractions in a park landscape of 850,000 square metres.
There is, for example, “Scream”, the highest gyro drop tower in the world with 103 meters for 70 meters of free fall. Or “Colossos” (built in 2001), the world’s largest wooden roller coaster, on which you can ride for 145 wonderfully tingling seconds at a maximum speed of 120 km/h. The “Colossos” is the world’s largest wooden roller coaster. Those who want it less fast-paced will also find plenty to choose from: Nostalgia carousels, Mississippi steamboat rides or the stunt, action and comedy shows promise an unforgettably beautiful holiday experience.
